This is a Severe Weather Forecast for Tuesday afternoon, November 22nd.
The National Weather Service forecasts a cold front to move down the Hawaii Island chain starting late tomorrow, Wednesday through Thanksgiving Day. Brief showers followed by a period of very windy conditions and high surf is expected.
Due to the high winds and surf, the following are issued;
Consider moving any planned outdoor Thanksgiving events indoors.
Consider postponing hanging any outdoor holiday decorations and securing outdoor canopies and awnings, which may become damaged or airborne.
Those with shoreline property or boats from Upolu Point in North Kohala south through Hamakua to Cape Kumukahi in Puna, please take this time to secure your property from high surf.
Beaches may closed without notice.
